The Centre for Ecology and Hydrology (CEH) is the UK's Centre of Excellence for research in the land and freshwater environmental sciences.

Their science describes the present diversity of nature, promotes understanding of the critical importance of its past, and develops knowledge that supports anticipation and management of the impact of human activity on the environment.        

The mission of the Wildlife Conservation Research Unit (known as the WildCRU) is to achieve practical solutions to conservation problems through original scientific research of the highest calibre.        

The Centre for Wildlife Assessment and Conservation (CWAC) is an information and research resource created to provide conservation practitioners and learners of the subject with practical research support and valuable information covering a wide variety of conservation topics.
